What is a #Jefa?

Translated - a female boss. At Trenza, our #Jefa's are the foundation of our community. They are Latina creatives who own, operate, and produce their own passions in the fashion, beauty, and creative fields. You can listen to our #Jefa's here and then support them by purchasing their product here!

How do I become a #Jefa?

Are you a Latina creative who owns her own business in the fashion, beauty, or creative fields? Yes - cool! We'd love to connect with you on what the application process and next steps are to join our babe cave here at Trenza! Fill out the form here!

Why 10% to a non-profit?

Something truly important to us as a Community Social Entrepreneurship (CSE) is that our community begins to see itself as both the investor and beneficiary. AKA we ensure that our customer/listener/fellow Latina can not only benefit from listening to the #Jefa Podcast, receiving a product she purchased online, or attending one our local meet-ups, but can also invest in the #Jefa, Trenza, and her larger community through the 10% non-profit donation to a Latinx serving non-profit!

It's a huge part of who we are, and we're super proud of it.

How can I help?

Not in the big apple? No problem - reach out to us and let us know how'd you like to help grow and develop Trenza for our community and we'll add you to our private FB group and be in touch!

Are you hiring?

Not at the moment, but we're always happy to bring on more advisers and potential interns!
